What is the difference between a full day rate and a half day rate?
A full-day rate is a 24 hour rental. A half-day rate is four hours. Be advised,
some items DO NOT have a half-day rate, and
each item is unique and may have different terms applied.
Do
you offer any "breaks" on rental rates for longer periods of time?
We offer week and month rates on items, which alter the price charged. Again, be
advised that these rates are different for
every item, and that some week rates are charged differently. Be sure to ask
about this before you rent the tool.
What does "Time Out, not Time
Used" mean?
Time Out, not Time Used is our motto. Simply put, this means that whether or not
you actually use the item you rent, your charge on that item is directly related
to the amount of time you have it in your possession.
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours adjust as the seasons do, but for the most part, our hours are from
April-Dec M-F 7:30-5:30, Sat 8-4, Sun 9-1
In the winter, our hours change from M-F 7:30-5:00, Sat 8-4, and closed Sundays.
Be advised that these hours are subject to change, and that we will have any
hours for holidays, change of seasons, etc...posted well beforehand.
I'm running
late. Can you wait for me to return this item?
While we'd love to help everyone out as much as they need, we can only remain
here during open hours of business. If you are late, you will be charged for any
additional time you have an item in your possession. Charges apply directly to
the rates of the item, meaning either an additional half-day charge can be
applied, or a full-day charge, whichever is the closest to when you return the
item.
What do I need to
bring in order to rent something?
If you haven't rented from us before, you'll need to bring a valid driver's
license or proof of identification, and a credit card. You
can pay any way you'd like upon return of the rental, but we require an open
form of payment when you rent an item.
Do you deliver?
We deliver any and all of our rental items, but we do charge for this service.
Delivery charge varies upon what you rent and how far you are from us.
Can I pick up larger items?
You may pick up larger, towable items (trailers, pig roasters, compressors,
chippers, et.al). Be advised that anything towable that we rent requires either
a 2" ball or a pintle hook, which we can also rent you as long as your vehicle
is equipped to receive it.
What is a cleaning charge?
A cleaning charge is applicable to all of our inventory. Simply put, when we
rent you an item, we expect it to be returned in the same condition as you took
it, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Do you charge for fuel?
Any gas or diesel-powered item we rent you is full when it leaves the yard. If
you do not return it with a full tank, you will be charged for the fuel you
used.
Remember, we are aware that this F.A.Q. list is only a handful of the questions
you might have regarding our policies. We welcome you to ask us ANYTHING you
might have a question about.
